23 March: Martyrs Day Observed Across the Country

ON the occasion of Martyrs’ Day of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, the party committees, the class and mass organizations, democratic forces etc organized large number of programs in different parts of the country. Reports of such programs are published in the social media extensively. Everywhere martyrs were remembered with the pledge to advance the struggle for people’s democracy and socialism with increased vigor. Everywhere it was pointed out tht we can defeat the ultra rightist challenges only by developing people’s movements like Bhangar and by linking them with countrywide movements for system change. The martyers day was observed with this resolve!

All India Revolutionary Student Organization & Revolutionary Cultural Front organized a convention on “Corporate Attack & the Struggle of Land, Livelihood, Ecology & Environment on 23rd March (Thursday) at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The convention focused on Bhangar (West Bengal) peasant struggle. Large number of progressive, democratic forces, people’s science organization, social activists, students & intellectuals participated.

At Delhi, CPI(ML) Red Star area committee of Narela organized a well attended public meeting which was addressed by com. KNR, state secretary Vimal, area secretary Shyamlal and others. Reports on such programs are received from a number of places in all states. All these programs became meaningful as they were turned in to occasions to learn from past mistakes, with a resolve to advance all round struggles according to present conditions so as to face the challenges confronted by the people. 
