People’s Convention in Kerala on Gadgil Report
The People’s Convention against the mafia axis that is formed against the implementation of the recommendations by the Western Ghats Ecology Expert Panel or popularly known as the Madhav Gadgil Report was held at the Jawahar Bala Bhavan Trichur on March 27, 2013. Such state level convention will be held in all Western Ghuts states followed by National level convention in Gova

DRF shall work for the defense of the democratic rights and civil liberties and for their expansion and advancement. It shall strive to co-ordinate different organizations, groups and individuals committed to work for the protection, expansion and advancement of the democratic rights and civil liberties at all levels.

As per dicision of Central Committee, PI (ML) Karnataka state committee conducted 3 days party school from 18th to 20th October 2012 at Chikkamaglore.

State level convection will be held at all other Western Ghut related states, before national convention.
District level convention held on land question; land capturing movement spread more areas.
Karnataka raitha sangha (IKRS, under AIKKS) organized District level convention at Raichur (Karnataka) against state repression on land struggle and declared the Land Capture struggle will spread more areas leading with thousands of landless and land loser peasants. Over 5000 landless peasantry attended the convention.
