The decision by Italian government not to resend the two Italian marines facing trial in India for shooting down two fishermen in Indian waters is the outcome of a drama enacted by the state and central governments in collusion with Italy. The Manmohan government should arrest the Italian envoy in India who stood as surety for the marines and must be put for trial as per Indian law.
