BHAKTAMADHU Nagar Tarini Basti Dalit Sahi Dwellers of Ward No. 62 Bhubaneswar protesting at Midnight shouting slogans against forcible slum demolition drive by Navin Patnaik Government. On 10th October a team of BMC-BDA & GA Department announced and threatened to demolish their houses on 11th October, if they will not leave their houses with today night. Local BJD Corporation just offered Rs 6000 per family to vacate this land. All these families belongs to Dalit community. They are staying since more than 30 years here and almost they are sweepers and sanitation workers. All their families were surveyed under Rajib Awass Yojana (RAY). All the Bhaktamadhu Nagar Tarini Basti Slum Dwellers decided to support their struggles. They have decided to protect their only shelter even sacrificing their lives.
