02 December 2017
IT WAS on last 8th November the anti-people demonetization was imposed by the Modi government. Our Party had exposed its reactionary character and struggled against it in whatever way possible. This draconian act of Modi government not only forced millions to queue up before the banks and ATMs during which more tha hudred people collapsed and died, but also made people’s life more miserable all over the country. Now, the consequences of this draconian act are exposed before the people day by day. Along with GST, it has made the masses more impoverished. This anniversary of declaration of demonetization was observed as a Protest Day all over the country, as part of our ongoing campaigns against the corporate-communal fascist regime of Modi.

Street corner meeting at Lake Market, South Kolkata by CPI(ML) Red Star, WB State Committee on first anniversary of Demonetisation attracted many. Many such programs were organized at different places in the country
